The Racist Incident Referral and Support Service
The Racist Incident Referral and Support Service project is a free and confidential service based in the Sligo Family Resource Centre.
Launched in June 2013, it provides support to those experiencing or witnessing racism.
In 2013 and 2014, it was funded by the PEACE III Programme through the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund managed for the Special EU Programme Body by Sligo County Council on behalf of Sligo Peace & Reconciliation Partnership Committee. It is now supported by the Sligo Family Resource Centre with funding from HSE Social Inclusion.
